Easter Weekend

The buds on the trees are just starting to show.
They create a kind of colored mist over the tops
of the trees that is just beautiful and give me hope
of the spring to come. Spring in Maryland is beautiful
and I have been waiting for weeks.
Daffodils are up
Crocus are up (crocii?)
Soon the apple tree will bloom...

I'm dreaming of finally planting in the back yard.
2 years ago I was teaching summer school, planning
our wedding, and taking classes.
Last summer I was too pregnant to move let alone dig.
So this year... I have hopes.

Easter weekend was full of work and relaxing together.
Lunch out with my mother.
Auggie wiggled a lot and then slept in Dave's lap.
