We're Back

There were many many tears on the way home.
Auggie was NOT happy to be stuck in the car.
I hopped in back and we played with flash cards,
empty soda bottles, and a toy car. That helped for
awhile.

Now we are home and relaxing.
Baby is asleep.
The fridge has been maniacally scrubbed and
stocked with fresh groceries.
I took a long bath followed by a long nap and
it this evening feels like a big wonderful sigh.

Here is a pic of Auggie and Dave on the beach which
was as sweet as life can get! That kid just continually
melts my heart.
