Funny How That Works

They are jackhammering outside my window.
Of course they started this project when Auggie was napping.
Needless to say he is no longer napping.

It is funny how the sound bounces around. I have the hallway
window open and it sounds as if the cacophony is coming from
just up the street when in fact it is just down the street. It
must bounce off of the house next door.

I have a feeling when I lose my mind and run screaming down
the street in a fit that the noise will bounce and sound as if I
am actually running UP the street.

Funny how that works.
