On this beautiful day we spent some
time outside on the deck.
Auggie was unusually quiet, just
checkin' out the scenery.
He is 8 months old now and weighs in
somewhere around 21 pounds.
He has 8 teeth and more threatening to burst through.
Every day he adds more to his repertoire-
crawling
rolling
pulling up
vocalizing
Our days are full of activity.
I am exhausted
keeping up with him, but very happy.
The end of the day brings snuggles.
I get to sit with this beautiful boy in my lap
smelling his freshly shampooed head as he dozes.
I think to myself that it can't get any better than
this, and yet day after day it does.
