On the day that Auggie was born I watched as you
became mesmerized with our little boy.
You lay on the bench in the hospital room and talked
to him as I listened.
"What are you going to do with these hands?"
you whispered.
I witness your struggle to get home as early as possible
so you don't miss a thing (hating to leave again
the next morning.) I love watching you play with Auggie
teaching him new things with such patience. Our son is the
luckiest boy on earth to have you as a father.
