Auggie and Liam on Naked Swimming Day

I managed to overcome my inertia and get out.
Packed bathing suits
towels
grapes
cheese
water
flip flops
sunscreen
and
sunglasses
and
Followed Kathleen out to her mother's house where we
escaped the 90 degree heat and jumped in the pool.
Auggie and I were joined by a very sweet and chubby
golden retriever who swam out to us every so
often for a hello. We sat in the shade with our boys on our
laps and munched on cold carrot/almond soup, grapes
and tortillas.

I was glad I got out. I was glad Kathleen wore a big
pink floppy hat because it made me smile.
