We had lots of smiles today from Auggie. I went to this mom's group thing today and then to lunch with a friend. Auggie behaved well the entire time. I HAVE to bring my camera to the mom's group the next time I go. I left early (the meeting went from about 10am-2pm and that is a little too long for me) and when I went into the hallway there were about 20 strollers parked along both sides of the walls. It was quite a site. I don't know how anyone can tell them apart- they all look alike. I'll try to get a picture of it...
Having a baby really makes me realize just how much I am like everyone else. It really hit home when Dave and I made a trip to Sam's club a few months ago. We were standing outside with our HUGE drinks and our hotdogs walking towards our truck...
I looked at Dave and just had this flash of "WOW did you ever think this would be us??!" So much for bohemian, or artsy!! We are just like every one else.

Hi Marn! I am thinking of you, and remembering when Ava was that small and I could just cart her around everywhere. She would pretty much sleep through it all. I still cart her around, but her 9-month old chubby little hands want to grab everything and her legs are wheeling to get down and crawl and explore. Every outing becomes a "chase the baby" activity. Still loads of fun but in a different sort of way. Love Auggie's hair, by the way- so cute. Ame
It's so fun to see him. He has such long legs and arms. he is a cutie. Hope you and Dave are doing well too.
Wow! He is growing. Such a calm looking boy. Your realizations are funny. You could never be just like everyone else. Maybe doing similar things, but still unique. Have a good day!

Auggie is a beautiful boy! I'm so happy for you and Dave. My Carly is 16 now and learning to drive and investigating colleges. I know, don't cry. I cherish every moment with my children. I take none of it for granted. I know you are doing that also even when all you want to do is sleep.
